Blade Inspection Works at Borkum Trianel Offshore Wind Farm
In summer 2024, Ventum was awarded a blade inspection campaign at the Borkum Trianel Offshore Wind Farm in the German North Sea.
Challenge
The scope included comprehensive external blade inspections using rope access techniques. Our technicians assessed cracks, delamination, leading-edge erosion, and other structural anomalies across the blade surfaces.
Solution
We also conducted Lightning Protection System (LPS) testing to verify electrical continuity and compliance with offshore standards.
Results
This project reflects our ability to deliver high-quality blade inspections offshore—combining access expertise, technical precision, and accurate reporting.
