Electrical Inspections and Retrofits on GE Cypress Units in Lithuania
For this project, we were tasked with inspections and maintenance on 98 GE Cypress turbines—some of which also required minor electrical retrofits.
Because the turbines were spread across different sites and required switching operations, planning was closely coordinated between Ventum, the OEM, and the wind farm operator.
Our daily updates and real-time control ensured effective execution and supported decision-making.
Challenge
Early collaboration with site management helped streamline operations. Post-maintenance testing and turbine reactivation demanded detailed logistics and adaptability from our technicians—challenges our team managed with confidence.
Solution
Due to our strong regional presence and performance, the customer expanded the scope to include mechanical retrofits already in the pipeline.
Results
We were able to intensify activities and continue delivering value across the Lithuanian fleet.
