Installation of Bird Monitoring System on Baltic Eagle Offshore Wind Farm
In 2025, we supported DHI with the installation of an advanced bird monitoring system at the Baltic Eagle Offshore Wind Farm in the Baltic Sea.
Challenge
Our scope included the complete infrastructure setup on the Offshore Substation (OSS) and several Transition Pieces (TPs). This involved mounting and connecting electrical cabinets, routing cables, and integrating system components into the existing offshore network.
Solution
Working closely with DHI engineers offshore, we performed system start-up, commissioning, and functional testing to ensure full operational readiness.
Results
This project showcases Ventum’s multidisciplinary offshore capabilities—spanning electrical, mechanical, and systems integration—executed safely and precisely alongside a technology partner.
