Rope Access Retrofit Works on Concrete Wind Turbine Towers
Over several months, Ventum supported Max Bögl GmbH with retrofit works on Nordex concrete towers across multiple sites in Germany.
Challenge
The task: install custom-engineered metal clamps on existing wind turbine towers while minimizing downtime and maintaining safety at height.
Solution
We deployed multiple rope access teams trained specifically for wind turbine retrofits. Working closely with the client, we helped prepare detailed method statements, risk assessments, and managed logistics across various regions.
Results
This project demonstrates our ability to deliver specialist retrofitting solutions through rope access—efficiently, safely, and with precision.
